Invited by Giles Miller Studio to design in collaboration The London Design Museum’s alternative Christmas Tree in 2013, Daniel applied his natural skill for narrative driven imagery to the challenge. Using inspiration from A Winter’s Tale, the pattern that runs up the centre of the tree follows a fox on the hunt for a bird. The delightful scene unfolds right to the top and could be viewed from multiple levels within the Museum. Giles Miller’s use of cardboard layering and cutting brings the imagery to life. In addition, Daniel was invited to design a series of limited edition Christmas greetings cards that also carried the design.
