Back in January, 2015 Daniel has been Designer in Residence at The Art House, Wakefield. Commissioned by The Art House, who pride themselves on connecting artists with audiences, Daniel was invited to create a limited edition product designed exclusively to promote the scheme. Reclaimed from the heart of the old library in Wakefield, oak and pine book shelves provided the materials and the patterned narrative that Daniel developed for decoration. Utilising screen-printing and laser etching techniques, Daniel used the facilities and workshop space within The Art House to create a triptyque of wall panels.
