Daniel Heath Studio to present Bespoke Surface Collection and Fabric Range at Stand C18A, Decorex International 18th- 21st September 2016, Syon Park, London
BESPOKE SURFACE COLLECTION
Daniel Heath Studio is proud to present a collection of highly crafted and illustrated bespoke interior surfaces that use a mixture of traditional techniques and contemporary technologies. On display will be Perivale Etched Slate, Espalier Slate tiles, Etched Mirror, Printed Iroko, Printed Metal and Etched Ash. All of which are available by the square meter for high-end residential and light commercial space applications.
“ The materials used in our bespoke surface collection often come with a story attached. We use salvaged materials, which have an automatic provenance, an inherited past. We celebrate each surface by adorning them with our sophisticated pattern collection, giving that material an extended life. We enjoy the variable patina, embrace the time-worn nature of the surface and delight in being able to allow these things to be appreciated in a different context.” Daniel Heath, 2016
The range of surfaces embodies different techniques and imagery styles. From the delicate hand-drawn designs so well loved in Daniel’s Taxidermy Birds Wallpaper to the modern decorative opulence of the Perivale Art Deco patterns used in our Welsh Slate Tile collection. Decorex International 2016, will be the first time this extensive range of surface offerings will be on display.
AMAZING JUMBO PRINTED CORDUROY FABRIC COLLECTION
The wonder and spectacle of the circus and the whimsical imagery of Victoriana are the inspiration behind Daniel’s screen printed ‘Amazing Jumbo’ pattern design. Peer inside the big top illustration and see horses and elephants playfully perform. This iconic design is translated for a full-width interior fabric repeat and is now available to buy by the meter. The design can be printed in both horizontal and vertical on the roll so that upholsterers can make the most of the pattern and the grain direction. Using locally sourced Lancashire corduroy. This exclusive new collection of upholstery fabrics will launch in 4 new colours at Decorex 2016.
